The miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, located in the garden of the same name, we are privileged with one of the most complete and beautiful panoramic views of the city of Lisbon, comparable to that which offers the opposite viewpoint of Castle of São Jorge.
From this point the eye can see in all its extension to Castle Hill and its walls, Martim Moniz, the low, the Mouraria, Alfama lurking behind the Cathedral, the river Tagus and the new areas of the city with broad avenues and buildings of more recent construction to the North.
A telescope allows a closer look of a particular building or detail, as well as a tile Panel, executed in 1952 by Fred Kradolfer, facilitates our guidance like a map.
