The S is a Professional School, created 20 years to be a
different school, an alternative to secondary school completion, giving a solid preparation for professional life or pursuing studies.
Their main activity includes the formation of young people in daylight operation and the qualification of adults on after work, in its areas of
specialization.
It was founded in 1988, with the promoter the ENSINUS entity and the collaboration of two techniques of education, Maria João Valle and Maria do Carmo Marques dos Santos. Acquires professional school status in September 21, 1989.
In the academic year 1995/1996, the INETE moved to the current premises in Stéphanie and, in 2008, ENSINUS was acquired by Grupo Lusófona.
Your educational project has developed and consolidated over time, especially as pillars of the difference:
• The bet on a socio-cultural training, up-to-date, scientific and technical developing project work and team work;
• Individualized student tracking;
• The qualification of the teaching staff in key areas of the courses, focusing on the companies and the labour market;
