Ancão beach is located in the extreme West of Ria Formosa Natural Park and is the most isolated of the Loulé Council, presenting a broad beach and areas prone to greater privacy and discretion. It is surrounded by an extensive dune cordon and is associated with a wetland with features of marshland. Behind is the Grove of pines, the low cliffs of red colors and a wealth of fauna and flora characteristic of littoral edge, which invites to long walks in absolute tranquillity.
The beach is guarded and concession has car hire marquees and water sports and features several bars/restaurants of excellence with complementary services.
