Temple dedicated to Santa Maria, was enlarged in the 16th,
XVII and XVIII, becoming devoted to the cult of our Lady of
Consolation.
In the last phase of the works of beautification of the Church
Lady of the Consolation of the castle in 1721, has, through the work of
Lisbon workshops of the masters Teotónio dos Santos and Bartolomeu Antunes, been
prepared this set tile.
