Endowed with a wide Bay, this beach extends for a vast sandy beach with about 3 km, limited by the streams of Alcantarilha and Espiche. The beach of Armação de Pêra, being one of the largest sandy beaches in the Algarve, is one of the most frequented in the summer and ideal place for many families. The beach stretches along the coast, where multiply terrace cafes, shops, restaurants and a large pedestrian promenade, as a result of recent works by changes to the sea front.
